"From this hour I ordain myself loos'd of limits and imaginary lines, going where I list, my own master total and absolute, Listening to others, considering well what they say, Pausing, searching, receiving, contemplating, Gently, but with undeniable will, divesting myself of the holds that would hold me."
Walt Whitman (1819-92)
"When I look back now over my life and call to mind what I might have had simply for taking and did not take, my heart is like to break."

Potential Sporadical
Just a note to say that blogging will be sporadic for a while. My mother in South Carolina, which is about 300 miles from here, is having a heart catherization at the Medical University of South Carolina on wednesday, which is yet another 100 miles on the other side. I'll have limited Internet access when I get there.
This stems from her episode on my birthday. To add to that, she had a "bad day" on Saturday, according to her, and could not really describe what it felt like. As this situation seems to be a lot more acute than normal, I'm heading that way either tonight or in the morning. She has heart catherizations annually due to having a heart transplant twelve years ago, but this is the first time she seems to be having problems like this.
I'll keep everyone posted as I can. Prayers for my mother would be gladly appreciated, her name is Dickie Hursey.
