For those of you who are unfamiliar with it, let me introduce you to the Ananova news site.
The site is a lot more popular in Europe than it is in the states, and that's a shame since it is one of the most unique sites on the web. The main draws for the site are the computer animated newscaster (yeah baby, click it, you know you want to)and the quirkie stories that she covers.
