Yeah, I'm Still Here, He Yells As He Flies By...

Just a short post to let everyone know I'm hanging in there and nothing's wrong!

This is the longest I have gone without posting since this blog began. No, I'm not bored. Yes, I really miss ALL of ya. Problem is, my dance card is full.

That happens, you know, when you start a business.

Yep, you heard that right. I'm starting my own business. Since I've been without a regular paycheck for almost a year now, well, enough is enough.

For 12 out of the last 14 years I have worked for crooks. People that I absolutely detested. People that I felt dirty just being around.

And, my friends, I ain't like that, not at all.

I'm no crook.

There's not a lie in me. Even if it hurts, I just can't do it.

And I refuse to do business that way any more.

I'm not gonna spin for people, not gonna help them fool others, not gonna be there when they hugely take advantage of someone who does business with them in good faith.

The sharks are gonna have to school without old Cliffy boy.

OK, off the soapbox. Deep breath. So, what the heck am I gonna do now, anyway?

I am now a "Registered eBay Trading Assistant." That means that I can help other people sell their stuff online, and I can collect a commission. Eventually I'll have a storefront, but now I'm working out of my house.

Which brings about its own set of problems. But that's another post.

The name of the company? SellYourStuff4U.Com

Yeah, I thought it was catchy. I might have to nudge it a bit, since I ended up with ISellYourStuff4U on eBay, but we'll see. The main thing is that this is a company that will have the integrity, honor and trust level that I have always felt a company should. This will be my company, the company that I would like to work for. A company with heart, that does things right.

Over the next couple of weeks, I'm gonna be a bit scarce as I continue tying together all the loose ends on this venture. But don't worry.

I still have LOTS of good stories to tell ya.

Try not to become a man of success but rather to become a man of value.
