"From this hour I ordain myself loos'd of limits and imaginary lines, going where I list, my own master total and absolute, Listening to others, considering well what they say, Pausing, searching, receiving, contemplating, Gently, but with undeniable will, divesting myself of the holds that would hold me."
Walt Whitman (1819-92)
"When I look back now over my life and call to mind what I might have had simply for taking and did not take, my heart is like to break."
Akhenaton (d. c.1354 BC)

OK, No More Gin Until Dinnertime
In all seriousness, this wasn't an illusion, I spotted it while leaving the post office yesterday. Sorry about the picture quality, I was trying to pull out onto a busy street while making a left turn and take this picture with my other hand on my trusty Zire 71 handheld. Yes, it was as awkward as it sounded.
So, here's this guy, walking his goat. Not only that, but this is in the Innsbrook area of Richmond, which is a very high class business park stuffed to the gills with executives, major corporate offices (Capital One, for example) and hundreds of really expensive condos.
What they don't have are farms. Or even single family homes, that I know of.
So, I have to ask, where did this guy come from? Does he keep this goat in his condo? Is it litter trained? Doesn't it tear up the furniture?
I have to admit though, it looks well behaved. For a goat.
