Blogger Idol Top Picks
(Looking for this blog's Blogger Idol entries? Either scroll down or look here and here.)
No definition or quote this time, just wanted to post my particular favorites in the Blogger Idol event. Here they are in no particular order:
Cuckoo Police in Bamako, Mali, say that Mamadou Obotimbe Diabikile tried to rob a bank, which is a fairly unusual crime in that city. The robber thought he’d get away with it because he figured he was literally invisible, thanks to wearing some magic charms, police say. But the charms not only didn’t make Diabikile invisible, they didn’t make him bulletproof, either: he was shot by a soldier posted to guard the bank, and is recovering in a jail cell.
