"From this hour I ordain myself loos'd of limits and imaginary lines, going where I list, my own master total and absolute, Listening to others, considering well what they say, Pausing, searching, receiving, contemplating, Gently, but with undeniable will, divesting myself of the holds that would hold me."
Walt Whitman (1819-92)

Eatonweb
I just checked the Eatonweb listing for this blog and, well, the rating seems to be dropping. I'm figuring that this blog's regular readers might not have clicked through yet. So, if you are so inclined, drag your mouse over there to the left and click one of the numbers under the Eatonweb icon.
A rating of "1" means that you think this blog is awful and it really blows chunks. Then again, if you thought that you probably wouldn't be here. A rating of "5" says that you really like visiting here. In between, well, you got the drift.
Also, there are no reviews yet for this blog. I'm officially putting my head on the block here, so fire away.
They do have an "anonymous" function, so feel free to be not so nice if you like. I know there's a clever remark that goes here but I can't think of it.
Hey, click away. If you do we'll send $1,500 worth of DVD's out to you in today's post.*
*Disclaimer: DVD offer only valid for persons residing in Antarctica with Burmese citizenship.

Emotional Education A group of about 50 parents of students at DeKalb, Ga., schools showed up at a meeting to protest the adoption of an abstinence-only sex education policy, saying kids need more information about contraception and disease prevention. The parents included doctors and infectious disease experts from Emory University and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, both of which are in the vicinity. “We feel passionate about the issue of sex education,” says parent Tanya Cassingham, an Emory AIDS research coordinator. “We have tried fear-based programs in the past.” Cassingham points out that the programs have not been peer reviewed by qualified researchers to ensure they actually work.
